Who we are
The Tavern is a volunteer-led tabletop and model community based in Ayrshire.
We bring people together through roleplaying games, board games, wargames, card games, miniature painting, model hobbying, dry bar events, and social activities.
What we do
We organise regular sessions, one-shot games, campaigns, hobby days, community events, and social spaces where people can meet, play, create, and belong.

The Tavern aims to be welcoming, inclusive, organised, and safe.
We want people to feel comfortable joining in, whether they are experienced hobbyists, returning players, complete beginners, or just looking for a friendly place to start.
Our community
The Tavern is built by its members and volunteers.
Game Masters, organisers, committee members, helpers, players, painters, and supporters all help keep the lantern burning.
Where we came from
The Tavern has grown from a community that first gathered around tables in Little Ripley Shop in Irvine.
Our history matters to us.
It shaped who we are, why we formed, and why we are committed to the community.
